Volleyball Recap: Rosman Takes a Loss

Rosman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Rosman ultimately came up short, they really made Rabun Gap-Nacoochee work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 25-19.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee was led to victory by Cassidy Klimasewski and Riese Kirkland. Klimasewski had 16 digs and one assist, while Kirkland had nine digs and two aces. Kirkland is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 31 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Rosman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Rosman will be playing at home against Robbinsville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
