Somerset Berkley Regional had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Somerset Berkley Regional never let Bridgewater-Raynham on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-17.

Lauren Kanuse paced Somerset Berkley Regional's offense, picking up eight kills. Kanuse got some help from Addison Parent and her 12 assists. Parent also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Madison Bednarz, each putting up five.

Bridgewater-Raynham's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Bonomi, who had six digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Emily Rogers, who had 17 digs and two assists.

Somerset Berkley Regional's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Somerset Berkley Regional will venture away from home to face off against Old Rochester Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, they will head out to challenge Barnstable at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
