Montello came tearing into Thursday's match with 16 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Green Lake/Princeton Tigersharks as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Hilltoppers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-17.

Rylan Harder was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven aces and four digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. Averie Brown also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Montello was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.

Montello's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Green Lake/Princeton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
