Jeffersonville and New Albany are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Red Devils will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jeffersonville has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 15.

Jeffersonville came up short against Bedford North Lawrence on Wednesday, falling 10-4.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but New Albany ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They put the hurt on Clarksville with a sharp 10-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Generals: they've now won five in a row.

Jeffersonville's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for New Albany, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Everything went Jeffersonville's way against New Albany in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Jeffersonville made off with a 10-3 victory. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
