Basketball Game Preview: Le Grand Bulldogs vs. Stone Ridge Christian Knights

The Le Grand Bulldogs will face off against the Stone Ridge Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Le Grand has struggled recently with 16 losses in a row, while Stone Ridge Christian will arrive with six straight victories.

Le Grand is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Mariposa County on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Le Grand had to suffer through a 56-24 loss at the hands of Mariposa County. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-4.

Meanwhile, Stone Ridge Christian didn't have too much trouble with Westlake Charter on Friday as they won 78-64.

Le Grand's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Stone Ridge Christian, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Le Grand strolled past Stone Ridge Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a score of 72-55. Will Le Grand repeat their success, or does Stone Ridge Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
