Baseball Recap: Musselman Takes a Loss

Musselman lost against Martinsburg back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Applemen fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Applemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Musselman saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tannor Sharp, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Musselman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Martinsburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Musselman will welcome Berkeley Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Applemen are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Martinsburg, they will host Meyersdale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
