Garden Grove is a perfect 3-0 against Valencia since February of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Argonauts will host the Tigers at 3:15 p.m. Garden Grove's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Valencia's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Garden Grove took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over Estancia.

Meanwhile, Valencia had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Westminster a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Garden Grove pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Valencia, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
