Basketball Game Preview: Fort Osage Indians vs. Chrisman Bears

The Fort Osage Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Chrisman Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Fort Osage easily dispatched Ruskin on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Fort Osage fell just short of North Kansas City by a score of 44-41 on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Chrisman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to Truman on the road by a 37-18 margin.

Fort Osage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Chrisman, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Fort Osage beat Chrisman 42-29 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Osage since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
