Midway benefitted from McLamb in 10-0 victory
John McLamb was dynamite on Tuesday, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his sixth in a row with less than two walks allowed. For the season, McLamb has an ERA of .85 over 41.3 innings pitched.
McLamb's strong effort led Midway over Clinton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Midway is 9-0 against Clinton going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
