Baseball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton suffered their closest loss since April 10th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Columbia Cougars by a score of 4-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dayton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Corea, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Columbia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7-1.

Looking ahead, Dayton will look to defend their home field on Monday against Linden at 4:00 p.m. Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
