Basketball Recap: Cloverdale Clovers vs. Edgewood Mustangs
Cloverdale lost against Edgewood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cloverdale Clovers took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edgewood Mustangs. The Clovers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cloverdale's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ishmael Kiteka, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Kiteka is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last seven games he's played. Jahaven Duncan was another key player, going 6 for 14 on his way to 16 points and five assists.
Leading Edgewood to victory were Carl Norris and Caden Jones. Norris went 5 of 9 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds, while Jones went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Huttenlocker, who posted seven points.
Cloverdale now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Edgewood, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
