Volleyball Recap: George Washington Comes Up Short

The George Washington Patriots came up short against the Hurricane Redskins on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Zo? Pray paced George Washington's offense, picking up five kills. Pray got some help from Julia Martino and her seven assists. Ali Arbogast and Natali Tomblin kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

George Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Hurricane, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Coming up, George Washington will challenge Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hurricane, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Woodrow Wilson on the 23rd.
