Soccer Recap: Sonora Comes Up Short

Sonora managed to keep up with Hilmar until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Sonora Wildcats lost 4-0 to the Hilmar Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in January.

Sonora has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Hilmar, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-5.

Sonora wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Hughson on the 31st. As for Hilmar, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Orestimba on the 31st.
