Volleyball Recap: Buckeye Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Buckeye Central Bucks came up short against the Pleasant Spartans on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Buckeye Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Megan Siefert paced Buckeye Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Siefert got some help from Maren McDougal and her 18 assists. McDougal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Buckeye Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Buckeye Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Delaware Christian on the 23rd. As for Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against River Valley on the 20th.
