Plant City is a perfect 6-0 against Brandon since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Plant City will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Riverview, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Sharks 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Plant City got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 23-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Brandon sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Morgan on Tuesday.

Brandon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Plant City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Plant City took their win against Brandon in their previous matchup back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
