Basketball Game Preview: Gorman Panthers vs. Iredell Dragons

The Gorman Panthers will take on the Iredell Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gorman will be strutting in after a victory while Iredell will be coming in after a defeat.

Gorman is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since December 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 42-22 margin over Walnut Springs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Lingleville, falling 80-59.

Gorman's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Iredell, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Gorman beat Iredell 48-38 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Gorman repeat their success, or does Iredell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
