Volleyball Recap: Ramona Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ramona proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the San Pasqual Golden Eagles 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (112-107) Ramona actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-21, 26-24, 26-28, 16-14.

San Pasqual's loss came despite strong showings from Niles Palma and Roman Saldivar. Palma had 33 digs, while Saldivar had 51 assists and three digs. Palma has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Ramona's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for San Pasqual, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7.

Ramona has already played their next contest (against Poway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Pasqual also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Oceanside.
