Basketball Game Preview: Times Squared Academy Eagles vs. Central Falls Warriors

Times Squared Academy and Central Falls are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Times Squared Academy Eagles will face off against the Central Falls Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Times Squared Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Central Falls likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Times Squared Academy took their game with ease, bagging an 85-43 victory over Blackstone Valley Prep. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Central Falls didn't have quite enough to beat Exeter-West Greenwich on Tuesday and fell 64-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Scarlet Knights since January 9, 2019.

Times Squared Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Central Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Times Squared Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Central Falls when the teams last played back in February of 2022, winning 61-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Times Squared Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
