Baseball Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Triumphs

Hamilton Southeastern won the last time they faced Franklin Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Royals walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Flashes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Royals.

Josh Lesniewksi tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jackson Bixler, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Hamilton Southeastern's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 8-16 when he doesn't).
