Baseball Recap: South Williamsport Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

With a playoff win on the line, South Williamsport rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Camp Hill Lions. The win was familiar territory for the Mountaineers, who have now won three games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Tadd Lusk, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

South Williamsport pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Camp Hill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-9 record.

South Williamsport wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-4 loss against Faith Christian Academy on the 5th. Camp Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
