Sabino has gone a perfect 4-0 against Palo Verde recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sabercats will venture away from home to take on the Titans at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sabino took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over St. Augustine Catholic. The Sabercats haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

While Sabino won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Palo Verde waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hawks.

The victory got Sabino back to even at 4-4. As for Palo Verde, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

Everything went Sabino's way against Palo Verde when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Sabino made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sabercats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
