Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Davidson). They put the hurt on the North Rowan Cavaliers with a sharp 20-1 victory on Tuesday. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

West Davidson got a great performance from Ethan McCloskey as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

West Davidson now has a winning record of 9-8. As for North Rowan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Davidson beat North Rowan by a score of 17-0 on Wednesday.
