Basketball Recap: Catoosa Comes Up Short

Catoosa played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Wagoner Bulldogs 60-28. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Catoosa's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ta'Nei West, who posted 15 points, and Olivia Bowen, who earned nine points and eight rebounds. What's more, Bowen posted four assists, the most she's had since back in January.

Catoosa's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Wagoner, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Catoosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-37 defeat against Skiatook on the 17th. As for Wagoner, they have also already played their next match, a 63-31 loss against Sequoyah on the 14th.
