Hill-Murray waltzed into their matchup on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the North Polars. Considering the Pioneers have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Hill-Murray's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for North, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hill-Murray will square off against rival Two Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 4.1, the Warriors 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, North is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Thomas Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
