Softball Recap: Montgomery Central Beats Richmond for Their Third Straight Victory

Montgomery Central hadn't done well against Richmond recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Montgomery Central Timberwolves walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Richmond Raiders. The win was just business as usual for the Timberwolves, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Kyndal Rush was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kylee Smith, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Montgomery Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Montgomery Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against Richmond: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
