Volleyball Game Preview: Cornerstone Christian School Cougars vs. Louisville Lions

Cornerstone Christian School hasn't had much luck against Louisville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cougars will challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m.

Cornerstone Christian School managed to slip by College View Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles on Monday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered against the Eagles since September 7, 2023.

While Cornerstone Christian School was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Louisville challenged Conestoga on Saturday. The Lions skirted past the Cougars 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Cornerstone Christian School better keep an eye on Kelsey Haynes. She was instrumental in Louisville's win, getting 19 digs. Jillian Harvey also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Louisville's record now sits at 15-6. As for Cornerstone Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Cornerstone Christian School might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Louisville when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
