Meanwhile, William Monroe won against Culpeper County on Wednesday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Dragons didn't even let Brentsville District on the board, marking the Dragons' second-straight 3-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Kettle Run pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for William Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
