They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Omaha Northwest Huskies on Friday and snuck past 4-3. The victory was just what Burke needed coming off of a 6-1 loss in their prior contest.
They hit Omaha Northwest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

Daniel Mejia, and
Sebastian Garcia-Sanchez.
Michael Dubose, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Omaha Northwest squad sat out for Friday's match. With Dubose sitting this one out, Dharrean Davis got some extra time on the pitch (65 vs. his season average of 27.8).
Burke's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Omaha Northwest, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
