Volleyball Recap: Pojoaque Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pojoaque Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Los Alamos Hilltoppers. The Elks/Elkettes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hilltoppers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-18.

Los Alamos was led to victory by Lauren Evenhus and Alyssa Herrera. Evenhus had five aces and three digs, while Herrera had five digs. Those five aces gave Evenhus a new career-high.

Pojoaque Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Los Alamos, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Pojoaque Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Taos on the 23rd. As for Los Alamos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Espanola Valley on the 23rd.
