Keitenn Bristow leads Holliday to victory over Idalou

Recap: Holliday Eagles vs. Idalou Wildcats

The Holliday Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Idalou on Friday as Holliday made off with a 59-36 win. Given Holliday's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Idalou is ranked 427th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Keitenn Bristow, who shot 6-for-8 from deep and dropped a double-double on 40 points and 11 rebounds. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Grant Cox was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds.

The victory (which was Holliday's eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. As for Idalou, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Holliday will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Floydada at 4:45 p.m. on December 8th. Floydada will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Idalou won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pampa at 8:00 a.m. on December 9th.
