Flag Football Game Preview: San Leandro Pirates vs. Castro Valley Trojans

The San Leandro Pirates will head out on the road to challenge the Castro Valley Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Leandro's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three games, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

San Leandro's offense might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against Encinal on Thursday. They lost 26-0 to the Jets.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last contest, Castro Valley made sure to put some points up on the board against Piedmont on Thursday. The Trojans breezed past the Highlanders to the tune of 39-0. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Castro Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for San Leandro, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

San Leandro suffered a grim 26-6 defeat to Castro Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Pirates were down 20-0.
