Flag Football Recap: Desert Ridge Takes a Loss

Desert Ridge came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the O'Connor Eagles and fell 31-0. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Desert Ridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for O'Connor, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Desert Ridge will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Williams Field at 6:00 p.m. This will be the Jaguars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for O'Connor, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 34-10 victory against Pinnacle on the 21st.
