Football Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

Warren County managed to slip by Social Circle the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Screaming Devils were dealt a 35-8 defeat at the hands of the Redskins on Friday. The Screaming Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redskins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Remi Farmer had a dynamite game For Social Circle., rushing for 111 yards and one TD. Those 111 rushing yards gave Farmer a new career-high. Aj Bailey got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Social Circle, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Warren County will welcome Johnson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Social Circle, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-31 loss against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate on the 28th.
