Volleyball Game Preview: Providence Pioneers vs. Le Lycee Lions

The Providence Pioneers are taking a road trip to challenge the Le Lycee Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Saturday, Providence made easy work of Golden Valley and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-19, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Le Lycee got the win against Mesrobian on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Le Lycee walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-20.

Providence's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Le Lycee, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Providence was able to grind out a solid victory over Le Lycee in their previous matchup back in September of 2016, winning 2-0. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
