Baseball Recap: Lamar's Win Ends Ten-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Lamar gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the Danville Little Johns 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted against the Little Johns since March 1, 2021.

The team relied heavily on Amos Bolduc, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Zaxton Aldridge, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Lamar's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Lamar and Danville will both be playing Waldron the next time they take the field. Lamar will host Waldron at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Danville will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
