Soccer Game Preview: Chiles vs. Arnold

The Chiles Timberwolves will face off against the Arnold Marlins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chiles is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Lincoln 5-1. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Trojans are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Arnold hasn't lost a match since December 16, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They never let Leon onto the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Arnold has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-1-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine games. As for Chiles, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2-5.
