Colton Holmes posted a new career-high in runs on Tuesday. He scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Holmes' strong effort led East Duplin over Kinston and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
