Jackson King posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 12 batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

Looking ahead, King and North Johnston will head out to face off against Franklin Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Patriots thanks in part to King: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
