Softball Recap: Holcomb Comes Up Short

Holcomb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cimarron Bluejays, falling 14-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Tuesday.

Holcomb's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cimarron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Holcomb will head out to face off against Spearville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cimarron, they will square off against Ness City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluejays are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
