Football Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Cherokee's offense. They took a blow against the St. Augustine Prep Hermits on Friday, falling 35-0. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Chiefs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cherokee fell to 2-1. As for St. Augustine Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cherokee will take on rival Mainland Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Augustine Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Winslow Township at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
