Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 83-49 loss at the hands of the Eastern Randolph Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 598th, while the Wildcats are ranked 215th).

Despite the loss, Trinity saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zy'Iveon Holmes posted 20 points and five rebounds. With that strong performance, Holmes is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Nazir Staton, who scored 11 points.
