Football Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

After soaring to 46 points the game before, Riverside was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against the Archangels Catholic Defenders, falling 46-8. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-0.

Gavin Geilenkirchen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Archangels Catholic, rushing for 96 yards and four TDs, while also picking up 32 receiving yards. That's the most rushing touchdowns Geilenkirchen has posted since back in September of 2024.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Archangels Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
