On Friday, King City faced North Andrew in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The King City Wildkats managed a 36-30 victory over the North Andrew Cardinals. Winning may never get old, but the Wildkats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

King City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Carlson out in front who rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 120 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Carlson has become a key player for King City: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
