Baseball Game Preview: Michigan City Wolves vs. Highland Trojans

The Michigan City Wolves will face off against the Highland Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Michigan City fell victim to Valparaiso and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 10-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Highland ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Griffith. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Brady Boyd was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Caden Quigg was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Michigan City's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
