Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Cyclones vs. Encampment Tigers

The Southeast Cyclones will head out on the road to challenge the Encampment Tigers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Southeast came up short against Lingle-Fort Laramie and fell 65-53. The Cyclones have struggled against the Doggers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Encampment also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Little Snake River by a score of 48-38.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Encampment, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Southeast beat Encampment 46-37 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southeast since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
