While Blacksburg put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Patrick Henry. The Bruins put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 10-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bruins needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.
Madelyn Williams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Williams was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
