Football Game Preview: Imagine Prep Storm vs. Ridgeline Academy Eagles

The Imagine Prep Storm will venture away from home to face off against the Ridgeline Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Imagine Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 39.8 points per game this season.

Imagine Prep is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 68-16 win over Harvest Prep Academy. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Eagle: they've now won four in a row.

Imagine Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kade DeWitte out in front who rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 172 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes. What's more, DeWitte racked up 160.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August of 2024. Mario Acosta-Styles was another key player, gaining 111 total yards and five touchdowns.

Imagine Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Acosta-Styles and Brock Millette. Acosta-Styles got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 48 points the game before, Ridgeline Academy was a bit more limited in their game last Thursday. They were outmatched by Heritage Academy and fell 34-7.

The victory got Imagine Prep back to even at 2-2. As for Ridgeline Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
