Stehly Posts Huge Game in 22-19 Win

Starting off the list is Valley Center's Daniel Stehly, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stehly picked up four sacks and made 16 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Valley Center has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. He has become a key player for Escondido: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 100 receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Joseph Vinup stepped things up a notch to give Oceanside the 'W'. Nobody could stop Vinup as he threw for 141 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 passes.
