Volleyball Recap: Tolman Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Tolman challenged Lincoln on Sunday. The Tigers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Hayson Ortiz paced Tolman's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ortiz got some help from Jean-Lucas Barroso and his 30 assists. Finally, Jim Terry Bornelus kept Tolman's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Tolman's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Lincoln, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

As of now, neither Tolman nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
