Basketball Recap: Mason Comes Up Short

Mason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Dewar Dragons, falling 64-16. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 459th, while the Dragons are ranked 195th).

Mason's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Dewar, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Mason has already played their next contest, a 43-41 loss against Oilton on the 24th. As for Dewar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-31 win against Union City on the 24th.
